AA is quite involved in the custom developments of RF electronics whether they are intended to be used with AO devices or for other optical applications.
The QUAD DDSPA project
In this particular project, AA manufactured a Rack integrating 4 x DDS drivers. On top of the existing frequency modulation feature, phase modulation was implemented together with amplitude modulation. The QUAD DDSPA offers not only USB interface but also fast parallel controls. In addition, all the 4 outputs are phased locked, synchronized with the an input clock signal provided by the user.
