Tunable Filters

An Acousto-optic tunable filter is used to selected one or several wavelengths and transmit them individually or simultaneously. The filters allow also to control their respective intensity.

Acousto Optic Tunable filters exploits the birefringent properties of the Shear mode TeO2 crystals. When applying one or several RF frequencies, the corresponding wavelength(s) will be selected and amplitude modulation can be also performed simultaneously or individually. Combined with their dedicated driver MPDSncxx, these devices offer fast and agile control of multi-line sources or a white light.
