Freespace Pulse Picker

Due to its fast rise/fall time, an AO device can be used to extract pulse(s) out of high repetition rate lasers

A pulse picker is a device used to control selectively the passage of light pulses generated by a mode locked laser for instance. Acousto Optic is a good candidate here as it offers small rise/fall time and high extinction ratio. Together with its dedicated RF driver PPKxx, the AO pulse pickers permits extraction of pulse out of high repetition rates up to 80 MHz and that, with minimum jitter, high consecutive pulse extinction ratio and high pulse to pulse stability.

For high optical power, Quartz or Fused Silica based Pickers will be preferred. We offer both freespace and fiber pigtailed Solution.
